Self invested personal pension plans, or SIPPs, allow you to create a totally
bespoke pension plan for your savings. A SIPP provides you with the
widest choice of investment opportunities and unlike a traditional personal
pension plan you are not restricted to the investment funds of the company
providing the pension.

Our self invested pension service
If you have pension funds in excess of £50,000 and are looking for an unfettered
investment solution you will benefit from our SIPP service. We offer a choice
of four SIPP solutions. These include a fully advised collective investment based
SIPP, a discretionary managed SIPP, a self managed SIPP, and a commercial property
or mixed investment SIPP. All of our SIPP solutions use independent trustees, Bank
of Scotland deposit accounts and are not insurance company based schemes. Request

Fully advised SIPP
We set up, manage, and provide you with full investment advice from an unfettered
range of over 1700 authorised unit trusts and OEICS. No direct shares or
commercial property can be included in this option. Ongoing advice and
administration is available via our annual fee structure or on a pay as you need
basis. Recommended for funds between £50,000 and £200,000.
Discretionary managed SIPP
We will set up your SIPP and then appoint your own private fund manager to manage
your pension on a discretionary basis. Your fund manager will purchase direct
stocks and shares, institutionally priced unit trusts, warrants, gilts and hedge
funds to manage the fund to your personal investment principles and objectives.
You fund manager will meet with you annually and provide unlimited telephone
contact. Ongoing advice and administration is available via our annual fee
structure or on a pay as you need basis. Recommended for funds in excess
of £200,000.
Commercial property / mixed SIPP
A comprehensive SIPP allowing commercial property, collective investments and
individual stocks and shares. This self invested pension can also be combined
with our fully advised service, a discretionary managed service, or an
execution only service. This SIPP provides total unfettered investment
opportunities within Inland Revenue rules. Ongoing advice and administration
is available via our annual fee structure or on a pay as you need basis.
Recommended for funds in excess of £250,000 where commercial property
will be included.
Self managed SIPP
A simple low price self invested pension. We set up an online dealing account
with a stockbroker, handle the initial cash transfers but then you make all of
your own investment decisions using an execution only trading account to purchase
stocks and shares and collective investments. This SIPP cannot include commercial
property. No ongoing advice is provided, but is available on a pay as you go
basis if and when required. Suitable for any size of fund provided you do not
require investment advice.
Set fees structure
Regardless of the level you intend to save we will charge you a one off set up fee
and offer you a choice of two fee based models for ongoing advice and
administration – either our set annual fee or a pay as you need basis. Importantly
all fees are transparent, you only pay for the service and advice you require
and our fees are not linked to the value of your pension savings.
Income drawdown
All of our SIPP solutions can be used in conjunction with
income drawdown
as and when you need to draw an income from your pension savings.
